Scope of Services
GetFix4U provides general handyman and home repair services, including but not limited to:
- Lock repair and smart lock installation
- Furniture assembly
- Door repair and hardware installation
- Window and screen repair
- Kitchen and bathroom fixture installation (cabinet hardware, backsplash, shelving, organizers)
- Plumbing fixture replacement (faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, supply lines)
- Electrical fixture installation (ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, smart switches, detectors)
- TV and wall mounting
- Smart home device installation
- Garage organization and storage
- Deck, fence, and outdoor living improvements
- Laundry room installation and hookups
- Accessibility modifications (grab bars, etc.)
- Home office setup and installation
Services We Do Not Provide
- Roofing
- HVAC system installation or repair
- Structural or load-bearing modifications
- Main water, sewer, or gas line work
- Automotive locksmith services
- Mold, asbestos, or lead remediation
Work Requiring Permits or a Licensed Trade
Some projects may require a permit or a state-licensed contractor. When a project falls into this category, GetFix4U will identify this at the time of estimate and either decline the work or refer the customer to an appropriate licensed professional.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and the issue being addressed, granting reasonable access to the work area, and disclosing any known pre-existing conditions relevant to the requested work. Any change to the agreed scope of work should be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Limitation of Liability
GetFix4U performs services with reasonable care and skill. GetFix4U is not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage resulting from customer-supplied materials, or issues arising from work outside the agreed scope. To the extent permitted by law, GetFix4U's liability for any claim related to services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. GetFix4U is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Business Status
GetFix4U is not currently a licensed contractor or bonded, and insurance coverage is pending confirmation.
